It was created in the 60s and implements traditional techniques such as flat weaving and hand-knotting, still being in perfect condition today— a true sign of its longevity. The radiant natural dyes like saffron or henna used produce intense hues that seem to jump from their intricate designs while touches of gold thread occasionally woven into them raise these rugs up as works-of-arts unto themselves; much like what you would expect in any area with rich color palettes mixed alongside enchanting geometric shapes like those found throughout Morocco where this type originated – but don’t be fooled by its thin appearance either because not only does it cover floors beautifully like all good stories should do (more than just being something people walk on), each one tells a different tale about an ancient land full of history waiting for us!
